Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Nora X Tech website. They explain what the website offers, the rules for using it, and the limits of the information presented here. A restaurant’s use of the Nora phone service requires a separate written service agreement and onboarding approval.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website. If you use the website for a restaurant, company, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization.
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement where you live. This website is intended for restaurant owners, operators, and other business users, not for children.
2. Website purpose
This website introduces Nora X Tech’s phone receptionist services for restaurants. It provides product information, illustrative conversations, plan information, a phone demonstration link, inquiry forms when configured, website support, and—where enabled—links to third-party checkout.
The website itself is not a restaurant reservation platform. The “Ask Nora” website guide cannot place reservations, access restaurant systems, submit inquiries, or provide live operational support. The public phone number is a demonstration line and is not a booking line for your restaurant.
3. Demos, inquiries, and service activation
- Submitting a demo or integration inquiry does not confirm an appointment, create a customer account, or guarantee support for a requested workflow.
- A demo may use fictional restaurants, sample data, and illustrative reservation scenarios. It is not proof that a particular integration is available.
- Service begins only after the parties confirm scope, onboarding, technical requirements, pricing, policies, and any separate service agreement.
- Setup timing depends on the restaurant’s phone workflow, booking platform, permissions, data access, and testing requirements.
4. Accuracy of website information
We aim to keep website information accurate and clear. Features, plan allowances, usage rates, integrations, availability, and promotional terms may change. Information displayed at checkout and in an applicable signed order or service agreement controls if it conflicts with general marketing content.
Examples of reservations, revenue, availability, response times, or business outcomes are illustrative. Actual results depend on call volume, guest behavior, restaurant operations, configuration, and third-party systems. We do not guarantee a particular number of reservations, calls answered, revenue, or cost savings.
5. Plans, checkout, billing, and cancellation
The website currently presents Essential at $499 per month with 700 AI calling minutes and Pro at $999 per month with 1,500 AI calling minutes. Essential additional usage is listed at $0.60 per minute and Pro additional usage at $0.55 per minute. Included minutes reset each billing month and do not roll over. Custom plans, integrations, taxes, and other agreed services may change the total price.
If a Subscribe button sends you to Stripe or another payment provider, that provider processes checkout under its own terms and privacy notice. Review the plan, billing interval, currency, taxes, renewal terms, and total price before paying. Nora X Tech does not ask you to send payment-card details by email, chat, or an inquiry form.
A completed payment does not make an untested integration live. Activation may require onboarding, verification, configuration, technical access, and a separate service agreement. Unless checkout, an order, or a service agreement states otherwise, subscriptions are monthly and renew until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund a completed billing period or usage already incurred. A refund, credit, trial, or promotion must be stated at checkout or agreed in writing.
The founding-customer offer shown on the website includes standard onboarding, no long-term contract, monthly cancellation, and a founding base price locked for 12 months. Eligibility and the start date must be confirmed in the applicable order.
6. Acceptable website use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- bypass security, rate limits, access controls, or form protections;
- probe, scan, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the website or its infrastructure;
- introduce malware, harmful code, automated spam, or fraudulent inquiries;
- impersonate another party, submit false information, or misuse another person’s information;
- copy, modify, resell, or exploit website content except as allowed by law or written permission; or
- use the demo, support guide, or website to violate privacy, recording, communications, telemarketing, or consumer-protection laws.
We may restrict website access when reasonably necessary to protect the website, users, or our rights.
7. AI, automated responses, and integrations
Nora uses automated and AI-supported technology. Automated systems can misunderstand speech, incomplete details, unusual requests, or information outside their configured knowledge. Restaurant rules, escalation paths, confirmation requirements, and human review must be agreed and tested before activation.
The website’s “Ask Nora” feature is currently a curated guide based on published website information, not a connected general-purpose AI service. It may decline questions outside that information. Do not rely on it for legal, medical, financial, emergency, or other professional advice.
Names of booking platforms, point-of-sale systems, calendars, and other services are possible workflow examples. They do not imply a partnership, endorsement, or active integration. Compatibility depends on API availability, region, account plan, permissions, third-party terms, and successful testing. Nora must not confirm a live booking unless the configured system reports success.
8. Restaurant responsibilities
Before launch, the restaurant and Nora X Tech must agree on the information Nora may use, booking and escalation rules, supported languages, call routing, recording or transcription settings, retention, staff access, and customer disclosures. The restaurant must provide accurate, authorized business information and update it when hours, menus, policies, locations, or booking rules change.
The restaurant is responsible for determining and meeting laws that apply to its calls and guests, including notice or consent requirements for recording, transcription, automated communications, marketing, accessibility, and personal-information handling. The separate service agreement should allocate these responsibilities.
9. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains website information practices. Do not submit guest records, payment-card data, passwords, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive information through website forms or chat.
If you contact us, you authorize us to respond about your inquiry using the details you provide. An inquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing. Any commercial email must provide the choices required by applicable law.
10. Third-party services and links
The website may link to or depend on third-party hosting, payment, email, workflow, telephone, booking, or other providers. We do not control their availability, content, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is subject to that provider’s terms. A link does not mean Nora X Tech endorses every product or statement on the linked site.
11. Intellectual property and feedback
The website design, text, graphics, Nora X Tech branding, software, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Nora X Tech and protected by applicable laws. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners. These terms give you a limited, revocable right to view and use the website for its intended business-information purpose.
If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback, you allow Nora X Tech to use them without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
12. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose. We do not guarantee the availability of any integration, feature, demonstration, or third-party service. Nothing here excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Nora X Tech and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of this public website or reliance on its general information. Total liability arising from the public website will not exceed the amount you paid specifically to use the website during the 12 months before the event, or $100 if you paid nothing to use it.
This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited and does not replace liability terms in a signed service agreement.
14. Your responsibility for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, violation of these terms, or content you submit without necessary rights or permission. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from Nora X Tech’s own conduct.
15. Changes, severability, and contact
We may update these terms as the website or law changes. The effective date identifies the current version. Changes apply when posted unless a later date is stated. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
These website terms do not identify a governing jurisdiction because the public website does not currently publish Nora X Tech’s registered legal entity or principal business address. Those details and dispute terms should be confirmed in the customer’s service agreement before paid service begins.
